Lately a new editor has several times removed the Whitewashing in film link on the grounds that "The movie's name doesn't even appear on the list in the linked article". I for one believe such a link has valid application here, MANAA well-documented as loudly criticizing the filmmakers for the practice. Thoughts? BusterD ( talk) 10:33, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
WanderingWanda, I happened to see this edit. It sounds insane to me - where is the discussion that led to the consensus you mention? for the purposes of the lead...There also seems to be consensus, without any opposition, in favour of capitalising "The". So I make the consensus form "The Wachowskis".
For all articles about films/media they worked on before they came out as women, there is strong consensus to refer to the writers/directors of The Matrix and other films as The Wachowskis (Option A) in the lead of articles and a consensus to refer to them by that name in an infobox.
