I'm not completely sure about this, but aren't the start and finish of the challenge by definition at Red Ball Garage and the Portofino Hotel respectively? If so, then it would make sense to put that in the lead section:
Red Ball Garage [1] on the east side of Manhattan to the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach in Redondo Beach, a total of 2,825.3 miles (4,546.9 km)

That the Audi A8L record has already been broken. The new record is "under 26 hours." The victors and the exact time are not mentioned in the article. Mcvoorhis ( talk) 23:46, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Why is Fred Ashmore's claimed 25:55:55 included in the "List of Records" section? It is most likely inauthentic according to all independent parties, and would not have been a record at the time even if it was legitimate, as it took place in June 2020 -- after the 25:39 that was completed in May.
I suggest these sentences should be removed from the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Silenditor ( talk • contribs) 11:20, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
Are there supporting articles for this claim? Google search does not produce any information about this record or a relevant racer by this name. 50.124.81.19 ( talk) 23:35, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
