How can aluminium tracking be more stiff than comparable steel tracking? Doesn't make sense - steel is a stiffer material. Unless all aluminium tracking is double the thickness of the steel, then this should be changed. 81.107.70.132 ( talk) 18:46, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
For the sake of consistency, are we using "dollies" or "dollys"? I have a sneaking suspicion the former is correct ;)

Could somebody please add a history section? When was the dolly invented? First notable uses of a dolly? Jec ( talk) 19:24, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm certain it was Vincente Minnelli who invented it, but I don't know the first notable uses. Maybe it was one of his films? I don't know. 98.220.156.143 ( talk) 21:49, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
