Merge proposal

Suggest this be merged with Japanese whiskey. Also, issues with POV: article reads like someone's fond reminiscence of boozing in Tokyo. Unagi Inu ( talk) 08:05, 24 March 2008 (UTC) reply

I've removed a bunch of stuff of the sort you described. I hope the article is more encyclopedic as a result.
You can place {{mergeto|Japanese whisky}} in this article, and {{mergefrom|Black Nikka}} in Japanese whisky. These templates alert readers of your merger proposal and provide a place to discuss it. I'd suggest merging Nikka rather than the generic article on Japanese whisky but it doesn't matter much to me. Fg2 ( talk) 08:29, 24 March 2008 (UTC) reply
I agree with merging. -- HighKing ( talk) 12:47, 27 January 2009 (UTC) reply

Product Line changes

In the current Product line of 2008 the label of the black nikka was changed so it now reads only BLACK on the label. It is rumoured that this change was made due to the phonetical closeness to other english terms.

Black Nikka is back

As of 2009 Nikka Released a "BLACK NIKKA SPECIAL" which - unlike the renewed label of the clear blend - reads "BLACK NIKKA" again.
