Image:Bethanydillon-top5.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:37, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

A lot of short sections, hardly any lead. Some good info, but it all needs to be expanded, and needs citations. -- Pepsi2786 01:14, 1 February 2007 (UTC) |

The result of the move request was: not moved. It appears that Dillon is the primary name used by sources. Primefac ( talk) 13:31, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Bethany Barnard – It seems the subject is now releasing music under the new name. We would need to leave a redirect at Bethany Dillon, and likely have to modify the article to reflect the new name.

WP:RM#CM states Make your point as best you can; use evidence (such as Ngrams and pageview statistics) and refer to applicable policies and guidelines, especially our article titling policy and the guideline on disambiguation and primary topic. (my emphasis) How anyone could think that a case could be made for this move without supplying evidence is frankly beyond me.
Please, all read WP:AT if you have not already done so, and if you think there are any arcane rules there discuss at WT:AT and/or WT:RM and get them changed. Good luck. Andrewa ( talk) 11:33, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

Shouldn't this page be changed from Bethany Dillon to the name Bethany Barnard? This has been Bethany's name ever since she got married in 2008, and is how she is known, for example her official website: https://bethanybarnard.com
Now that time has elapsed since her marriage, Bethany Barnard is also how sources refer to her consistently, e.g. https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/video/i-shall-not-want-bethany-barnard-shane-shane-davy-flowers/
Changing the name is consistent with how similar artists who change their name/gender etc on Wikipedia are handled. If this isn't contested/challenged, I'll implement the name change to Bethany Barnard. Gregorytopov ( talk) 03:53, 24 December 2021 (UTC)
