Bengkulu (city) →
Bengkulu City – The official name is Kota Bengkulu
[1], so it is fine to call this article "Bengkulu City" instead of "Bengkulu (city)". This is shorter and more natural and can be used in written text. It is also done so for the Kabupaten: "Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan" becomes "
South Bengkulu Regency".

While Roberts, Edmund (1837). Embassy to the Eastern Courts of Cochin-China, Siam, and Muscat may be a document of interest to historians, it certainly isn't appropriate to use it as a source in this article, in the way it is being used. 183-year-old sources aren't generally considered WP:RS for anything other than perhaps attributed quotations from the author. 165.120.15.66 ( talk) 07:15, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
For some unknown reason the Administrative Districts section of this article on Bengkulu city gives details of Serang city (in Banten province) instead of any information about Bengkulu. I am deleting this (the info is already in the appropriate article on the city in Banten) and substituting data on Bengkulu city. Rif Winfield ( talk) 16:26, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
