I've found a 19th-century schoolbook that dates the battle to 1 August 1227 instead of 28 July ( p. 41–42). So the question arises whether the monument is wrong, or the book. Even if one converts between Julian calendar and Gregorian calendar, the two dates won't match. De728631 ( talk) 15:04, 15 July 2013 (UTC) reply

19th century schoolbooks aren't exactly renowned for their reliability and accuracy. The date mentioned is the one multiple sources provide. Kleuske ( talk) 12:35, 28 June 2016 (UTC) reply
