At the time when the reference and text was added to the article, the SUNY website announced the following:
Since SUNY has decided to delete the above entry from their website, it is appropriate for Malerooster to make the same deletion in the article. At the same time, it is notable that the wikipedia editors that orginally supported the deleted text did so with the appropriate reliable source, SUNY itself. Fairview360

There is a detailed article on the history and subsequent implosion of this collaboration in the Watertown Daily Times, which should qualify as a RS and allow a more detailed description of the problems on both sides that led to the agreement being abandoned. Why does this university have a "Center for Archaeology" when their degree programs focus on English, Business and Technology? As far as I can see, they don't even offer courses in Archaeology or the social sciences. NewJerseyLiz Let's Talk 14:27, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
