Agmel is most assuredly no hoax but rather a product which was marketed by the Zonite Products Corporation in the early 20th century, and which formed the most prominent item marketed in one of their company's divisions. There are numerous newspaper acounts of its sale over decades, including most reliable sources, the Wall Street Journal (which I have cited), the New York Times, etc. -- Robert ( talk) 16:21, 8 May 2009 (UTC) reply
