I won't change anything yet...but this profile mentions that Ada is an Asian American and now she is under two American descent catagories. Where exactly does it say officially that she's American? I have not heard once in any of the games that she's American born...she could of been born in France for all we know.
Is there some info blurb in a book or interview I haven't read that specifically states this? Because otherwise I think it may be a mistake to mark her as such..-- Kiyosuki 21:51, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
70.242.145.245 02:30, 12 September 2006 (UTC) Keep in mind, this game is made in Japan, in the majority of anime, and such, racial qualities (for lack of a better word in my vocabulary at the time) are often mixed, embellished, or ommited.
The Resident Evil Archives book states that she's Asian, but mentions nothing of her being half-half Spartan198 ( talk) 14:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC) Spartan198
^Thanks for the answer, I was about to ask this myself. I checked the source in the Appearances section that states that she is an American of Chinese descent and it was written by Jeremy Parish in Electronic Gaming Monthly, January 2008. Don't know anything about Parish or that much about EGM so not sure how reliable this source is, but Ada is a secret agent after all, she is defiantly of Chinese descent but her nationality doesn't necessarily have to be American. 195.67.78.50 ( talk) 09:01, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
The 1998 Japanese Resident Evil 2 magazine, BIOHAZARD 2 PROLOGUE OF TERRORS, cites Ada as Chinese-American (page 11 on 'Character File'). Its a rare magazine but you can google it or look it up in the RE fandom wikia. 84.19.145.45 ( talk) 09:41, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Okay, first sorry for my bad English. Now, there's that user who removed all of Ada's sex appeal section and said they are "superfluous". I kind of agree that it's too long so we should make it shorter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.128.82.18 ( talk) 15:05, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
Made it shorter! The references in this article looks really bad so I'm going to fix them! 94.128.82.18 ( talk) 15:19, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
https://twitter.com/MissTiffanyL/status/1070005780038868992?s=20 I know Twitter isn't the best source, but this image of Ada is the best current picture of her I could find. I feel like her image should be up-to-date, but it's not necessary. I just wanted to put out the option. Also, I can't find the official copy of that photo, so if anyone finds it feel free to replace the one I found! Meredithgp ( talk) 06:55, 10 January 2020 (UTC)Meredithgp

Okay, here are the remaining concerns.
The section does a good job of discussing Ada's origins and how she was created for her role in Resident Evil 2, and what changes were made to her in the remake. However, the section makes zero references to her role in RE4; such as when during development she was added to the story, or a discussion of her role. Admittedly, such information might not exist or is difficult to find, but at the very least, her visual design should be brought up. Primarily because the section includes a few sentences discussing her design in the RE4 Remake, which comes off as a bit sudden without any references to the original RE4.
Also, would it be more appropriate to include the reference to her cut role from Village in this section, rather than the "In the Resident Evil series" one? PanagiotisZois ( talk) 12:19, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
When referencing Jade King, the article as is refers to her with he/him pronouns— Jade's correct pronouns are she/they. MelodyJettWerner ( talk) 12:43, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
