In 1989, a Danish audiologist, Ole Bentzen, died watching A Fish Called Wanda. His heart was estimated to have beat at between 250 and 500 beats per minute, before he succumbed to cardiac arrest. [1] 81.156.60.51 ( talk) 21:52, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Title cards reveal their futures: "Archie and Wanda were married in Rio, had seventeen children, and founded a leper colony. Ken became Master of Ceremonies at the London Sea World. Otto emigrated to South Africa and became Minister for Justice." " —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.231.93.56 ( talk) 23:51, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

The Ole Bentzen mention is a really good example of blind faith in referencing for the sake of. It is referenced, yes (well done you!). But has anyone bothered to check the link? The link goes to an (unreferenced, unauthored) list included in a book, which could well have been invented by the editorial staff. It worries me that this is considered appropriate referencing. The
§ Reception section says (said): "In 2000, the readers of
Total Film magazine voted A Fish Called Wanda the 37th greatest comedy film of all time.[citation needed] In 2004 the same magazine named it the 41st greatest British film of all time.[citation needed]"
Now, Total Film (gamesradar.com/totalfilm/) literally floods its website with such top whatever lists. Some examples where A Fish Called Wanda is mentioned:
Note that the above overview doesn't (even) include the two top whatever lists currently mentioned in the aforementioned article section. If Total Film had real, proven expertise and credibility in the field, we could mention all the spots A Fish Called Wanda got in their dozens of lists, but this is not the case. Those top whatever lists are all about ad revenue, about getting more readers. Oh, look, A Fish Called Wanda made it to number whatever on Total Film's top whatever list. I've removed the text I cited at the beginning of this post from the article.
