This also appears to be used in chemistry. I see it on
Standard enthalpy of reaction and
1,2-Dichloroethane. A chemist tells me they would have expected these instances to be a superscript zero or degree symbol. Are these uses of the o-minus correct? If so, it would be nice to explain the notation. --
