At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 3,785 in 1,079 households. [5] There were 3,738 inhabitants in 1,265 households at the following census of 2011. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,975 in 1,448 households. The most populous of its 24 villages was Shahrabad, with 822 people. [2]
