Saranza ( Persian: سرانزا), also Romanized as Sarānzā and Sarānzhā; also known as Sar Nezā‘, [3] is a village in, and the capital of, Poshtkuh Rural District of the Central District of Firuzkuh County, Tehran province, Iran. [4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 333 in 93 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 192 people in 66 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 122 people in 43 households. [2]
