Qaleh Sukhteh ( Persian: قلعه سوخته) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Parvaz Rural District of Emamzadeh Hasan District, Falard County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. [4] Qaleh Sukhteh was the capital of Poshtkuh Rural District [5] until its capital was transferred to the village of Darreh Namdari. Qaleh Sukhteh is populated by Lurs. [6]
At the 2006 census, its population was 877 in 179 households, when it was in Poshtkuh Rural District of the former Falard District of Lordegan County. [7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,085 people in 248 households. [8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 962 people in 239 households. [2]
In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Falard County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Mal-e Khalifeh as its capital and only city. [4]
