Poshtkuh Rural District ( Persian: دهستان پشتكوه) is in the Central District of Ardal County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Rostamabad. [3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 20,878 in 4,468 households. [4] There were 21,395 inhabitants in 5,442 households at the following census of 2011. [5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 10,933 in 3,083 households. The most populous of its 24 villages was Alikuh, with 2,206 people. [2]
