Zuman Affair, this is an old article, but probably not a single Ukrainian saw it. What it could be, this name "Zuman"? `'

Pyrohiv (Kiev). Museum images someone added recently to Kiev moved there. --

I believe redirecting to this substub is quite meaningless. Redirect to
Ochakov, which gives a brief account of the siege, is more helpful. --
Ghirla-трёп- 09:20, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
That is true, but it is a matter of adding material from
Ochakiv to the
Siege of Ochakov (1789). Right now, a person reading about the Siege still has a wikilink to
Ochakiv which discusses the siege in greater detail under the history section.--

Tartak by me. Ha-ha, as soon as it was created, it was tagged for speedy deletion due to significance issue. So I had to read up on
Wikipedia:Notability (music), and make Tartak significant for wikipedia.--
Riurik(discuss) 05:15, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
History of Lviv; this was a cut/paste move from
Lviv which was turning into a historical article rather than about the city itself; a short history section was compiled.--

Ukrainian grammar by
Woollymammoth 21:31, 23 August 2006 (UTC) Note: All of the forms need to be checked when I get a copy of the Orthography of the Ukrainian language, as well as the various phonological changes in Ukrainian need to be expanded.
Cossack Mamay was just created; note! there is another article titled
Mamay. I am not sure if a disambiguation page is warranted. For now, I added the Cossack Mamay to Mamay's "see also" section. What do you think? --

All (or at least 90%) Ukraine-geo-sutbs are now categoriezed to their corresponding oblast categories, by me. —

I believe the article is overloaded with pictures and image galleries. No featured article about a city has image galleries, to the best of my knowledge. --
Ghirla-трёп- 07:46, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
I too believe it is overloaded, but they are good images...they give a good impression of the city. But we could possibly rm some of them. —

WP Articles about capital cities tend to be visually well supplemented, see
Warsaw,
Moscow; The sections on Local Government, Subdivisions of Kiev and Demographics are underdeveloped so maybe these can be moved down until they are improved? Featured articles
Boston and
Detroit are good examples of what we can work towards.--
Riurik 20:47, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Not as much a new article announcemnt but
Wikipedia:WikiProject Eastern Orthodoxy has just taken off, I know we can give it a lot of input, so expect a few of you to sign on. --

Soviet. Don't apply a new nationality to someone after their death.
Kevlar67 09:49, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Difficult question. The French wikipedia article describes him as an American zoologist of Russian ancestry born in Ukraine
(FRWiki). That seems fairly close, however in my opinion a nationality is what you have in your head thus Petrunkevitch is whatever he deemed himself to be, which is ...? --
Riurik 17:32, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
I have added American zoologists, Russian biologists and Ukrainian biologists into categories and nothing into the leading paragraph. Soviet is a sort of challenging for a person who emigrated in 1910 and never returned.

You more like doubled this article. Now it is in much better shape. Thanks a lot!

Fyodor Pirotsky by
User:Mbuk and me. If you would WP:DYK the Kiev trams you could include this as well.
abakharev 12:28, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Actually trams are better than Pirotsky, so you might be better off without him, it is up to you
abakharev 12:33, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
Kiev tram was created by
User:Mbuk. I took way too much time working on it....:) Please help expanding it, as it would easily pass
DYK and hopefully
WP:GOOD.
///—dima 19:03, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
I have nominated it for
WP:DYK. Please check the question

Why does this song/album have 2 pages -
Wild Energy and
Dika Energiya (btw, Dyka Enerhiya)? Can't these 2 be combined?--
tufkaa 13:37, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
I am not sure Busa reads this board. I understand that one single is in English the other is Ukrainian.

Trajan's Wall is briefly expanded by things related to Ukraine. Please expand further and give the Ukrainian name. `'
