The village is located on the Reut River (a left tributary of the Seym), 58 km (36 mi) from the Russia–Ukraine border, 33 km (21 mi) south-west of Kursk, 10 km (6.2 mi) north-west of the district center – the urban-type settlement Medvenka, 3 km (1.9 mi) from the selsoviet center – Vysokoye. [9]
Konstantinovka has a warm-summer humid continental climate (Dfb in the Köppen climate classification).
Konstantinovka is located 9 km (5.6 mi) from the federal route M-2 Crimea Highway (a part of the European route E105), on the road of intermunicipal significance 38H-587 ( Spasskoye – Konstantinovka), [10] 22.5 km (14.0 mi) from the nearest railway station Dyakonovo [11] (railway line Lgov I — Kursk).
