Khlevensky District ( Russian: Хле́венский райо́н) is an administrative [1] and municipal [3] district ( raion), one of the eighteen in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 910 square kilometers (350 sq mi).[ citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Khlevnoye. [1] Population: 19,213 ( 2021 Census); [5] 20,208 ( 2010 Russian census); [2] 22,251 ( 2002 Census); [6] 24,106 ( 1989 Soviet census). [7] The population of Khlevnoye accounts for 31.3% of the district's total population. [5]
