Jafa Kandeh ( Persian: جفاكنده) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Banafsh Tappeh Rural District of Now Kandeh District, Bandar-e Gaz County, Golestan province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,099 in 292 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,121 people in 333 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 920 people in 311 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
