Isaabad ( Persian: عيسي اباد) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Sarab-e Sofla Rural District of Babaheydar District of Farsan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The previous capital of the rural district was Filabad. [4]

The village is populated by Lurs. [5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,907 in 435 households, when it was in Mizdej-e Olya Rural District of the Central District. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,923 people in 566 households, [7] by which time parts of the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Babaheydar District. [8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,757 people in 462 households. [2]
