Eslamabad ( Persian: اسلام ابا) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Eslamabad District of Parsabad County, Ardabil province, Iran. [3]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, Eslamabad's population was 3,069 in 629 households, when it was a village in the former Qeshlaq-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District. [4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,349 people in 869 households. [5] The 2016 census measured the population as 3,068 people in 829 households, [2] by which time the village had become the city of Eslamabad in the newly established Eslamabad District. [3]
