Eslamabad District ( Persian: بخش اسلام آباد) is in Parsabad County, Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Eslamabad, formerly Eslamabad-e Qadim. [3]

History

After the 2011 National Census, parts of the Central District were separated in the establishment of Eslamabad District, which was divided into two rural districts. In addition, the village of Eslamabad was elevated to the status of a city. [3]

At the time of the 2016 census, the district's population was 13,944 inhabitants living in 3,973 households. [2]
