I believe that the Nintendo Switch Lite is a ninth generation console due to being significantly different from the Nintendo 3DS, which dominated the eighth generation for handhelds, and the PlayStation Vita, the final handheld from Sony. - The Switch Lite is the Switch. It's not a different generation from the Switch because it is 99% the same hardware and support. It must stay with the Switch in the eighth generation. If that means we don't have any portables in the ninth, so be it. --

The sourcing needs to become much stronger than simply off the back of two product announcements that have not hit production yet or been released. Stadia is a cloud gaming platform, not a console. This page generally focuses on consoles of said generation, while Stadia will compete with the PS5 and Xbox 4, it isn’t a real console, resulting in me questioning its inclusion. ShadowCyclone talk 22:16, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
