In 1926, Crump performed in the show The Cajun. He was a writer for the 1950 show Southern Exposure. [1] [2] [3]
He was a screenwriter for Jack Warner. [4] He made a series of "pro-American" short films for the U.S. government. [5] After World War II, Warner chose him to helm a series of four films. [6] He worked on The Bell System Science Series films.
He obtained copyrights for installments in the Death's Diary series. [7]
He was interviewed about his career in 1994. [8]
Crump was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma. His father was William Jackson Crump.
Crump was engaged to Isabell Jewell. [9] He married Jean ?. He remarried Lucile Fairbanks. [4] [10]
