Cham Kabud ( Persian: چم كبود) [a] is a village in Jaber-e Ansar Rural District of the Central District of Abdanan County, Ilam province, Iran. It was the capital of the former Cham Kabud Rural District of Sarab Bagh District. [4]

Demographics

Ethnicity

The village is populated by Kurds. [5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,054 in 213 households, [6] when it was in Cham Kabud Rural District. The following census in 2011 counted 1,290 people in 332 households. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,202 people in 351 households, [2] by which time the village had been transferred to Jaber-e Ansar Rural District of the Central District. [4]
