Sarableh ( Persian: سرابله), also Romanized as Sar Ābleh, [3] is a city in the Central District of Chardavol County, Ilam province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. [4] The city is populated by Kurds. [5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 9,703 in 2,079 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 10,967 people in 2,762 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 12,393 people in 3,417 households. [2]
