Barik Rud-e Shomali Rural District ( Persian: دهستان باريك رود شمالی) [a] is in the Central District of Fereydunkenar County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Suteh. [3]
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as Barik Rud Rural District of the former Fereydunkenar District of Babolsar County) was 4,506 in 1,277 households. [4] In the following census of 2011, there were 3,914 inhabitants in 1,235 households, [5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Fereydunkenar County. [3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,991 in 1,381 households. The most populous of its nine villages was Suteh, with 1,511 people. [2]

[4] In the following census of 2011, there were 3,914 inhabitants in 1,235 households, [5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Fereydunkenar County. [3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,991 in 1,381 households. The most populous of its nine villages was Suteh, with 1,511 people. [2]
