American college football season
The 1985 Duke Blue Devils football team represented
Duke University as a member of the
Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) during the
1985 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by third-year head coach
Steve Sloan, the Blue Devils compiled an overall record of 4–7 with a mark of 2–5 in conference play, tying for sixth place in the ACC. Duke played home games at
Wallace Wade Stadium in
Durham, North Carolina.
