Do we need this page/list?

It seems to me utterly useless. __ meco ( talk) 17:56, 27 April 2010 (UTC) reply

Delete - This seems to be an older subpage included from earlier work on Alternative Views. I included it in the tabbed navigation since it was one of the existing subpages. Clifflandis ( talk) 18:13, 27 April 2010 (UTC) reply
I wonder if we can PROD it or if we must MfD it? __ meco ( talk) 18:20, 27 April 2010 (UTC) reply
Please leave it, it looks useful to me. Why would we get rid of this when the participants page says " To see recent changes to the articles already related to this project please use the recent changes function"? Dougweller ( talk) 19:29, 28 April 2010 (UTC) reply

Comment Hi Dougweller! Most of the functions of older lists like the Articles page have been replaced by WikiProject banner templates. The Articles page currently lists 170 articles, while there are 477 articles currently tagged with the project banner. Tagging articles with the project banner allow the use of various tools, such as the ArticleAlertbot. When talk pages are tagged with the Project's banner template, the ArticleAltertbot posts any changes that occur to the article's status, allowing members of the WikiProject to monitor the project's associated pages without having to manually update a page like the Articles list. ArticleAltertbot is temporarily down due to the recent Wikipedia API changes, but it should be back up shortly. When it comes back up, I'll make sure that WikiProject Alternative Views is subscribed to the ArticleAlertbot's service. In the mean time, you can check out the assessment section of the main page to view the current 477 articles tagged, and to improve their quality. Bwahahaha, I just checked out your talk page...nevermind, you know all this stuff already! Oh well, maybe it'll help someone else who's interested in the status of this page. Clifflandis ( talk) 21:05, 28 April 2010 (UTC) reply
ArticleAlertbot is not just down, it's dead. [1]. Dougweller ( talk) 14:57, 1 July 2010 (UTC) reply

RePurpose this Section

This page should be converted to a list of Userify Articles. Since many subjects of alternative views will require undergoing a major consensus process and heavy scrutiny before being truly accepted by Wikipedia in live articles, it should make sense that we start a Userify taskforce, and convert this section to their dumping ground of work.

I propose that they split it up into nominated main articles for Userified drafts, a hard list of running drafts, peer-review requests, and featured (too show off our hard work). Eaterjolly ( talk) 21:43, 24 November 2016 (UTC) reply

On the inclusion of the page “ Black people

Which alternative views concerning black people make the page a good one to include within the scope of WikiProject Alternative Views? AndrewOne ( talk) 19:26, 8 August 2020 (UTC) reply
