Show/Hide function

Could someone perhaps consider adding a Show/Hide function for the very rapidly increasing task forces section (with more on the way), as it is getting very long and beginning to warp some pages. I say this particular section because they are subsects of this project, and not essential and vital project pages. -- .: Alex :. 20:04, 17 June 2008 (UTC) reply

I can / will. I was actually thinking to do so with the majority of the sections, perhaps except for the first one. -- Izno ( talk) 00:32, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
I have boldly changed the template. Feel free to edit at will, but please discuss here. -- Izno ( talk) 03:40, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
Is there a reason this is better? Doesn't just make it more difficult to quickly navigate pages? I don't think we had any problems with the size of the template on any pages previously. Also, this change has kind of broken the layout structure on Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games. JACO PLANE • 2008-06-30 13:43
It looks a little weird. Is it possible to refine the asthetics of the template and perhaps make it SHOW by default? -- .: Alex :. 14:19, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
Yeah, that would be easy to do, just change from "class="collapsible collapsed"" to "class="collapsible"". JACO PLANE • 2008-06-30 15:19
I personally like it. Let's face it, a big-ass template is a pain in the ass to have lying around. Having just the main parts of the project shown by default is much cleaner and easier to grasp. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs ( talk) 15:33, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
Re: Alex: It's possible, but I personally wouldn't like it that way. I'm with Fuchs here; collapsing everything but the main part of the template makes it look much better to me. If there are certain higher-use-items than others, then perhaps the template should be reorganized. -- Izno ( talk) 18:06, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
Also, what do you mean it kind of broke the layout on the main page? -- Izno ( talk) 18:08, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
It's the page layouts fault, not the template, it just looks a bit messy without the sidebar going down the entire way. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs ( talk) 19:18, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply
Could someone at least fix some of the asthetics of the template. It looks a little weird if you know what I mean... It is nice to hide some of the really long sections though. -- .: Alex :. 20:14, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Could the "departments" section be made to show initially, instead of hide? User:Krator ( t c) 22:17, 30 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Yes I agree. I find myself using those links on a day-to-day basis. -- .: Alex :. 13:05, 23 July 2008 (UTC) reply

Direct Info from Turtle Rock Studios

I have a contact inside Turtle Rock Studios, he has agreed to give me information for the page. Hopefully this can also be acomplished for Valve studios. Does anyone have a means of contacting them? Samus Fan102 ( talk) 04:22, 9 July 2011 (UTC) reply

New template

I merged this template to {{ WPVG sidebar}} and added a few tweaks such as shortcut and archives template integration right into the sidebar. Any thoughts or objections on replacing this sidebar's transclusions with the new template? czar  15:03, 29 May 2014 (UTC) reply
