First, the automated edit-summary sorting (using [[User:ais523/editcount|ais523's edit counter). Luckyluke used to not use edit summaries (although they have got better in this regard), so this is only really useful for recent edits. Article namespace: 2054
One interesting statistic here is the total 367 reverts in article-space (out of the 1066 edits with edit summaries), compared to the 69 edits in the User talk namespace, which would imply that the candidate tends not to warn vandals. Checking manually through all Luckyluke's User talk contributions reveals only two vandalism warnings; neither was substed, and one was subsequently removed (by Luckyluke).
Here's the output of the diff-generator (using the same edit counter and considering the most recent 2000 edits):
Luckyluke's AfD contributions here look more or less fine; the 419eater.com nomination was maybe unfortunate (Luckyluke seems a bit too fast to declare non- notability; this is the revision he put up for AfD), but it looks like a simple mistake rather than a misunderstanding of policy (the article wasn't sourced ridiculously well and many deletable articles have looked superficially similar). However, there are pretty much no other processes in which Luckyluke has participated regularly recently (the five RfA subpage edits are all to this RfA), and no process or policy discussion ('others in Wikipedia talk' doesn't appear in the list above because there were less than 5, and neither of them were policy-related). So in other words:
So I'm opposing weakly; although the candidate would benefit Wikipedia with helping to reduce AfD backlogs when they develop and speeding that up, some of that can already be done as a non-admin, and the participation in other areas in which the candidate wants to work is either nonexistent or hasn't been done with the knowledge of the process that I would expect an admin to have. -- ais523 15:36, 2 March 2007 ( U T C)
