For Red flag traffic laws. I'd like to confirm whether this book from 1968 contains the quote attributed to it in this other book from 2018,
upon chance encounters with cattle or livestock to [1] immediately stop the vehicle, [2] immediately and as rapidly as possible disassemble the automobile, and [3] conceal the various components out of sight behind nearby bushes until equestrian or livestock is sufficiently pacified.
(The google snippet view doesn't return anything for "equestrian" or "pacified", but there's apparently something about the red flag law on that page; I'd like fuller confirmation that the quote isn't there.) Cheers, gnu 57 02:15, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Some of the earliest proposals to regulate automobiles were-like the British Red Flag Law-inane and impractical ... The Farmers' Anti-Automobile Society of Pennsylvania demanded that "if a horse is unwilling to pass an automobile, the driver should take the machine apart as rapidly as possible and conceal the parts in the bushes."

Serial Number 54129, also, you made a request here (now here) on March 17 for "D. Knoop & G. P. Jones, 'The First Three Years of the Building of Vale Royal Abbey, 1278–1280', Ars Quatour Coronatorum [sic; correct title: "Ars Quatuor Coronatorum", --pajz] ( Transactions of the Quatour [sic] Coronati Lodge) 44 (1931), 5—47.", which I saw late but then requested to the reading room. I subsequently received the two volumes you may have referred to (42.1931 and 44.1933), but at that time couldn't find a related request here anymore, so didn't know what to do with them ... (The volumes have since been returned.) I've tried through my Wikipedia access to Gale and EBSCO respectively, and failed on both. Text-only would be fine if that's easier. Many thanks, Justlettersandnumbers ( talk) 10:55, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
For Princeton Club (Philadelphia) there's a citation needed, and when I first clicked to this article I saw it. Went back to the WP article to check what the exact info requiring a citation was, and when I clicked back to the source, I could no longer see the full article.

This paper seemingly from the same journal could also be helpful: [29]

FunkMonk, sent. Note that the information in the request is inconsistent. There is an original Russian version of the journal (with titles in Russian) and there is an English translated version (which is the one referred to in your link). I've sent a copy from the latter. — Pajz ( talk) 19:29, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
And from reading the paper you sent me, it seems I also need the following paper, as that is where the taxon was named:

I'm not sure how this is gonna work, sorry! But this book ( OCLC 65022-8111) is in two volumes, and I don't know where what I want is in either of them :) any chance of contents or index pages (the latter need only cover " Vale Royal"). Worldcat.
Hope something can be done; but I am being rather vague I know. Sorry about that! —— SerialNumber 54129 16:41, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
(The volumes have since been returned.) I now had a chance to look into this and noticed that this originated in said request of yours, which got archived after you marked it as resolved, even though it doesn't look like you've ever received the requested article. So: Is is resolved? — Pajz ( talk) 16:56, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

I need the data sets supposedly available at [42] for the graphs shown in figures 1A and 1B only, on page 402 of [43]. As you can see, I don't need the document which is at that last link, just its supplemental data sets for those two graphs.
Instead of emailing it can you please paste it into, say, User:EllenCT/Insect data? The raw data is not subject to copyright in the US, because of Feist Publications, Inc., v. Rural Telephone Service Co.
This is to create unencumbered graphs for Insect and Decline in insect populations.
