J-LEAGUE TACTICS SOCCER
Year: 1999
Publisher: ASCII Entertainment
Developer: ASCII EntertainmentIF YOU LIKE your Japanese football games but you aren't very skilful then perhaps a Japanese football management game is more your cup of sake. J-League Tactics Soccer has you taking on your favourite J-League team - or, if you don't know any, the one with the best mascot - and trying to guide them to glory. You can even take charge of the Japan national team and try to make them world champions, if your ambition goes that high. The game looks suspiciously like Konami's Perfect Striker / ISS series right down to some of the character animations, but there don't appear to be any signs that Konami were involved in any way.
FACT: If you want to give the game a bit of a personal touch, you can create four players and bring them with you when you start managing your first team.

Please send any relevant text that mentions Hubert Humphrey (the mayor of Minneapolis then).
It's for the article Hubert Humphrey. He gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention in 1948 in support of a civil rights platform. The platform was adopted, and its widely considered to have swung the presidential election that year in Harry Truman's favor.
A preview of the title I am able to access goes: "Colored Voters Backed Truman: Majority Found Giving Support To Democratic Party Nominees Truman's Stand On Civil Rights Seen As One Factor In..."

Solomon Ucko ( talk) 06:36, 8 January 2024 (UTC)An estimated 70% of the Negro vote in Minnesota went for Truman for President and helped elect Minneapolis Mayor Hubert H. Humphrey, civil rights advocate, U. S. senator over Joseph H. Ball, incumbent.
Minnesota Negroes concentrated in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and Duluth, as late as March were found to be 54% in favor of Wallace and only 22% for Truman.
This trend changed drastically in July after Hubert H. Humphrey's fight for a strong civil rights plank at the Democratic convention and the subsequent formation of the Dixiecrat party.
A poll made in August revealed that the Negro voters had left Wallace camp with 68% of those questioned favoring Truman.
St. Paul Negroes helped elect 32-year-old Eugene McCarthy, a young liberal of the Humphrey type, to congress. Minneapolis Negroes of the third district joined in electing Roy Wier, a labor leader, to congress. MacKinnon, his opponent, had held himself aloof from the Negro voters.

For a draft article for a game called Insane 2 in my sandbox ( latest revision as of this post), I need the full review from this source. Note that the author also published a review for the same game in PC Action, but it is possible that the PC Games review has more depth, and this source has the advantage of being a premier source for PC gaming in Germany anyway.
Thanks, Free Media Kid$ 21:33, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
I was busy off-site (uploading material to the Internet Archive, if anyone is curious), but I did receive the review. A brief comparison of the texts does suggest they are identical. A little disappointing, but not surprising either. I have seen this happen before on at least one other occasion and again just recently during my Archive work. The infoboxes are somewhat larger. On top of that, the one containing the author's opinion is more thorough, and the PC Games appears to be the origin of the review, predating the PC Action version by a month. All right, I will resume work on the Insane 2 article within a week. Free Media Kid$ 20:45, 10 January 2024 (UTC) {{ Resolved}}

For Naturism in the United States: complete history, events and organizations. These sources could also indirectly help Naturism, List of social nudity places in the United States or Female toplessness in the United States. To begin with something, I'd like to have the index to know what pages are needed, but I anything related to the history, organizations and events of this social movement would be helpful.

For Rover SD1#Police use - this seems to hold a very in-depth account of police specification SD1s that I can't find anywhere else, peculiarly not even in Ant Anstead's Cops and Robbers. This book may also be reliable for the SD1 overall, but that's not what I'm here for - seemingly out of print and going for over £20 online for delivery at the end of January 2024, could anyone provide the textual contents of Chapter 7? So far, all I've been able to find is info on the demo car, a list of police forces who operated Series 1 SD1s, and I suspect the last two items from a list of Series 2 operators.

I was busy off-site (uploading material to the Internet Archive, if anyone is curious), but I did receive the review. A brief comparison of the texts does suggest they are identical. A little disappointing, but not surprising either. I have seen this happen before on at least one other occasion and again just recently during my Archive work. The infoboxes are somewhat larger. On top of that, the one containing the author's opinion is more thorough, and the PC Games appears to be the origin of the review, predating the PC Action version by a month. All right, I will resume work on the Insane 2 article within a week. Free Media Kid$ 20:45, 10 January 2024 (UTC) {{ Resolved}}

For Maria Eugénia Neto. I'm a bit confused by what I am finding about this. Archive.org shows the 1987 interview was in Jan-Feb '87, volume 31, but it also shows that there was an interview in Jul-Aug '88, volume 37. I searched Proquest at the WP library and cannot find either, so I am hoping that someone with access to broader Proquest database can find either or both (all three?) of these?
