Disambiguation link notification for September 24

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Michael Jai White, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Central High School. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Quaerens-veritatem. I wanted to let you know that your recent contribution of Revision as of 16:39, 24 September 2023 has been reverted because you failed to note my edit of 12:27, 24 September 2023, and ‎the article’s reference # 56 that is a WP:RS that was added before your edit, that confirm Birkley’s full date of birth. Please check references before editing. Disruptive editing can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Quaerens-veritatem ( talk) 03:51, 25 September 2023 (UTC) reply

@ Quaerens-veritatem
I think you may wanna look up what disruptive editing actually is. The references/citations should be close to the material it supports in the article. Kcj5062 ( talk) 04:11, 25 September 2023 (UTC) reply
Actually, the lead just must have support in the article, not a separate ref unless an item is challenged or likely so ( MOS:LEADCITE). Certainly ref #56 could have been added to the lead if it was challenged, but it was not, it was ignored. Nonetheless, I have added it. By the way, The Gossip Column of Beaver County Times - Sunday Times Magazine - is a Kings Feature Syndicate undated column without a complete d.o.b.. The Ask Michele column in the Lawrence Journal-World likewise is an undated syndicated column without a complete d.o.b.. Again, The Nation’s Entertainment - That’s Showbiz undated column is without a full d.o.b. that appears syndicated from the LA Times. The LA Times 2012 article seems on point, but the author seems to have gained information from other sources and there is a later reference to “Ministry of Gossip”. On the other hand the article’s present ref #56 backs up Berkley and is a home town source. Quaerens-veritatem ( talk) 05:07, 25 September 2023 (UTC) reply
@ Quaerens-veritatem
You can see the dates to left of those newspapers underneath where it says "books". As well as on the top of the newspapers if you scroll down on them. The Beaver County Times one is dated May 26 1996. The Lawrence Journal World one is dated August 9 1996. And the Nation Entertainment one is dated April 2 1998. And when it comes to WP:DOB the age is the more important thing. That's why Wikipedia allows birth years to be put up, but not the birthday if there's no reliable source for. Kcj5062 ( talk) 05:24, 25 September 2023 (UTC) reply
Yes, I noted those dates but, as I wrote, the columns themselves are not dated as is usual with news articles. They appear to be syndicated columns produced by others for subscribing news organs and they don’t have their own dates and may have been produced at various times, not necessarily the date generally printed in the receiving organs. I think the original ref # 56, now ref # 1, resolves the complete d.o.b. - if you read the cite you will find it lists the month, date, and year of her birth.
