Scope

This project is intended to create accurate and dependable articles on the Monilophytes and the Lycophytes.

Principles include:

  • Adherence to cladistic principles
  • Titling of pages according to scientific, not common, names
  • Using classification categories at the lowest reasonable level (using family rather than genus categories for species in very small genera)
  • Maintaining central alphabetical lists of species: Category:Fern species and Category:Lycophyte species
  • Directing categories to appropriate florae
