Our first goal is to get all of the articles on motorways to B-class standard. What we need in such an article is:
If all five of these checkpoints can be achieved, the article is at a standard comparable to B-class. If one is missing, it is best at Start-class, while if two or more are, then it is a stub.
The recommended RGB colours for British road signs have been published in a Department for Transport document [1] The hex equivalents of the values quoted are given below as a reference for any editors:
Colour code | Usage |
#0079C1/white | Motorways |
#00703C/#FFD200 | Primary road |
#E31837/white | Warning signs |
#794400/white | Tourist destinations |
#FFD200/black | Roadwork signs |
Any editor who is unsure of how to use these codes can of course look at the underlying code.
