  • Retarget to Doug Everingham, per Tamzin's comment in the previous discussion. Everingham referred to himself officially as the "Minister of Helth", owing to his support for a series of spelling reform proposals that were not adopted. He is the only person to have used this title with this peculiar spelling in an official capacity. A hatnote could point to Minister of Health (disambiguation), if that page existed (I'm not sure why it doesn't, there are many countries with a Minister of Health). There's no reason I can see for this to redirect to the current target. Ivanvector ( Talk/ Edits) 17:28, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply
A disambiguation page probably doesn't exist because there's already a set index located at Health minister which does the job of listing and distinguishing between roles sharing that title in different countries. That set index is the target for Minister of Health. I'm not sure what the guidelines are about having titles including "(disambiguation)" redirect to set indices. I suspect it's discouraged given WP:SETNOTDAB explicitly says that set index articles are not disambiguation pages.
If I recall correctly Mdewman6 argued that Everingham did not refer to himself as "Minister of Health", but rather "for Health". ( WP:SMALLDETAILS) I don't know whether Everingham, the press, or ordinary Australians actually have/had an especially strong preference for phrasing it "for" rather than "of". I don't know if there an official guideline, but WP:G14 says pages with (disambiguation) in the title can be deleted if they do not "redirect to a disambiguation page or a page that performs a disambiguation-like function" (emphasis added). In this case the set index clearly does perform a disambiguation-like function, so redirecting to it from (disambiguation) titles should be fine. • keep I agree with xaosflux above. Also, VPP is 15+ years old, updating it will mean confusing a lot of editors. Not worth it. —usernamekiran (talk) 15:21, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Speedy keep: well-established; WP:VPR/ WP:VPPR is the shortcut for proposals. Per Xaosflux. Edward-Woodrow :) [ talk 15:36, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep: Per WP:CHANGESC it's generally advised against changing shortcuts that have already been well established, especially when it has been used in closed deletion discussion as those cannot be changed. WP:VPP seems to be used in numerous closed AfD discussions, so it would probably be best to keep just to make said archives discussions understandable. • Keep per historic use. There's already a hatnote at the top of the policy village pump referring to the proposals village pump. Ivanvector ( Talk/ Edits) 17:01, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep this is a long-established, well-known, heavily-used and widely-advertised shortcut. Altering it would be highly disruptive. -- Redrose64 🌹 ( talk) 17:06, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • SNOW keep per the above. InvadingInvader ( userpage, talk) 00:11, 10 September 2023 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was keep. Including R from lowercase (non-admin closure) Utopes ( talk / cont) 05:42, 16 September 2023 (UTC) reply

Bad miscapitalization serves no purposes, but causes the redirect to show up in Wikipedia:Database reports/Linked miscapitalizations. Dicklyon ( talk) 05:17, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply

  • Keep but recategorize as {{ R from lowercase}} instead of a miscapitalization. These redirects help readers who can't or won't use capitals in the search bar, except that the first title of every page must be capitalized for technical reasons. Ivanvector ( Talk/ Edits) 17:11, 9 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep as a {{ R from lowercase}} per Ivan. This one is potentially helpful and not hurting anything. Regards, SONIC 678 04:43, 10 September 2023 (UTC) reply
  • Keep and tag as lowercase per above -- Lenticel ( talk) 00:49, 11 September 2023 (UTC) reply
