WP:UBCR says Wikipedia is not an appropriate place for: Propaganda, advocacy, or recruitment of any kind (commercial, political, religious, or otherwise) and Opinion pieces, particularly on current affairs or politics. This is inflammatory opinion on politics. –  Muboshgu ( talk) 20:03, 2 November 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Obama left office less than six years ago.-- Pawnkingthree ( talk) 17:59, 3 November 2022 (UTC) reply
I would have thought this was divisive in 2000 when he was a state senator, in 2004 when he ran for US Senate, in 2008 when he ran for president, through 2017 when he was president, and after as a former president. That I only found it yesterday is irrelevant. –  Muboshgu ( talk) 18:06, 3 November 2022 (UTC) reply
Not only is Obama still alive (making him subject to BLP), but he is still active in political advocacy and represents political views that are commonly held today. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 19:29, 3 November 2022 (UTC) reply

Preferred Userpage statements are stated in the positive, who the user supports, not who they oppose. It is to be expected that non-preferred negativity fails in multiple aspects. SmokeyJoe ( talk) 08:10, 9 November 2022 (UTC) reply
I disagree, there is nothing wrong with saying who you support or oppose as its left up to interpretation. - Knowledgekid87 ( talk) 15:34, 9 November 2022 (UTC) reply
