Wikipedia requires that article content and presentation be judged. Wikipedia does not require that editors be judged, unless they are explicitly breaking policy.

An editor should not be criticized for a mistake. Wikipedia is about content, not personal style, so content must be judged and criticized, but editors should never be judged or criticized unless one feels it necessary to file a complaint against an editor.

Editors should almost always be thanked rather than criticized, and should always initially be thanked and asked neutral questions regarding content rather than criticized and not have any negative personal statements made.
