Kyoko ← Tachikoma
(copied from CUU talk page) Hello, some months back, another user (
User:Randfan) set up the account
User:Kyoko as a means to guard against impersonation of me, without asking me first. I've been giving it some thought, and I think I'd like to move my account to there, because I'm getting tired of being called "Tachikoma". I think Randfan created the Kyoko account as a new page, the same way a new article is created, i.e. without making a password first.
I currently have a number of subpages that I would also like transferred to the Kyoko account. I plan on changing the subpages (anti-vandalism scripts, etc.) once they are there. I also plan on recreating the Tachikoma account for redirection towards the Kyoko account. That way, my old talk page messages will point to the new account. Thank you. --

- A few things: I think Randfan created the User:Kyoko account in November or so, by typing in "User:Kyoko" in the search box, and then creating it as if it were an article. He then made the user and talk pages into redirects to my Tachikoma account. As for the subpages, I use a modified version of
Lupin's vandal-whacking script, which calls to customized vandalism warnings within my userspace. I expect that I will have to change the code of this script and various other pages in my userspace. It's no big deal, just a little tedious to do. --

The top of the page mentioned "reasonably well-established users" which I believe that I qualify under: I've been a registered user since December 2005, and I think that my contributions show a reasonable intent to continue improving and contributing to Wikipedia. I just thought I would throw it out there for you to help in making the decision --

- As of this timestamp, you have 62 edits, per

- I cant prove that it is mine with e-mail but you can see: my fist edit on cs.wiki was 6. august 2005

[5], my 2 first edit with Nolanus before I lost the spassword were 9. august 2005, with Nolanuss I edited 15. august 2005
[6]. I think, it can be seen, that it is practically unpossible that Nolanus could be an other one than me. And if you search Nolanus with google, you will find
Giordano Bruno,
Paulinus Nolanus /a pholosoph and one death writer/ and the all other ones Nolanuses are me! There is no other one who used this name. /sorry for my english/ --

This might be a somewhat unorthodox request. Basically I created ArkyBot and am in the process of developing a bot under that name. I must have made some mistake in the registration process as my password is not working and I made the mistake of not providing an email address for the bot and thus have no way of resetting the password. I have done so for

Alice Mudgarden ← Ivan Kricancic
Reason: I am trying to "disappear" from Wikipedia. I have recently had my user, user talk, and user sub pages deleted to help with my wish to disappear. I would also like to change my user name to help me disappear from Wikipedia. I would like to usurp this user name, as it has no edits or logs. Please don't make my former user/talk pages redirect to my new one, as this would defeat the purpose. I want the name Alice Mudgarden just in case (though extremely unlikely) in the future I decide to come back - editing Wikiepdia under my real name was a big mistake, as some users have taken it upon themselves to attack me off-wiki, and post personal information about me (see these two blogs for examples -
http://psihoanalize.blog.hr/

- I would prefer to use this account name, which seemingly has no edits or logs, so that I can ditch the initials. Also, can redirects from the old name be protected somehow? Thanks.
Charles 03:33, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
reply
- Yes all your edits and logged actions will be attributed to your new username. Your signature on any pages you've signed in the past will still point to the old pages but you can redirect them to the new ones. Prob the best way to make sure you keep the redirects would be to recreate the account "Cfvh" following the rename.

All your userpages and user subpages will automatically be moved to the new name (leaving redirects behind) during the rename.
