  This username is the name which I've been using on Wikiversity, Meta and Wikibooks - this was created by me but by SUL which was removed - my Dark Mage account had only made one edit over on the Administrator's noticeboard, but if you need confirmation I'll access my Dark Mage account here - and also my main Wikiversity Dark Mage account to confirm this request - I had left previously due to the increase in vandalism and the rise number of threats but however though I wouldn't mind returning to this site but under my current username which I'm using on Wikiversity. And I've just logged back into my Terra account, as you can see I created Dark Mage by SUL from Meta - but didn't realize it would create an account under the new username which I'm using on Meta and on Wikiversity - so it was created by accident over here on Wikipedia. I see what you mean. You must've been logged in on the other sites you are active on and the SUL meant that Dark Mage was created automatically on viewing en.wp pages. Fortunately, you operate the SUL so I see no problem is this happening; you will lose all contributions under the current Dark Mage account though. If my Terra account gets renamed to Dark Mage which I'm using on Wikiversity, Wikibooks and also Meta - then all of the contributions which I've done on this site will not be lost - I am intending to return to the site, but only semi-active but I want to be known by Dark Mage - Changing a username will not lose the contributions and besides the SUL link is no more, I had it removed and it'll not affect my Dark Mage accounts on other Wikimedia Sites, I didn't realize though that SUL would indeed create the Dark Mage username on this site, if the SUL didn't have done automatically then I would have placed my request on the main Changing username page and not here. How long will this take, I operate the Dark Mage account and have even accessed it to confirm this - that account was created by SUL by mistake, the reason why it was created could have been when I was viewing one of the pages and didn't realized it created it - I've also updated my main page on Wikiversity and provided a link to my Terra username here which I'm currently using, I placed the request here because I've made substantial edits on this username which I don't want to loose - I had thought about using the Dark Mage as it is, but what's the point when I've already made edits with this username. Picking up on what you say last, the requestee should re-create the account which has been renamed, since if there are any active contributions coming from the account which was created by a person other than the requestee, I'm sure you could the see the possible implications involved. The account called Verbal hasn't been used since its creation in 2005, and my current account name has cause problems by being to long. Realising Verbal wasn't used (and thinking it hadn't been created) I started to use the nick, but was surprised I couldn't register the name. I eventually realised it had been created but not used, and that this is the place to request usurpation.
