I understand your concern, but even if this request wasn't archived, the log entry creation and the re-attribution of edits are done automatically by the system upon renaming. The option is to abandon this account and create a new one, with the obvious drawback that you'd lose your contribution history.

A separate issue, User:MSc on de.wiki has edited as recently as December 2011, so in order to prevent a SUL conflict a rename to MSc would probably be declined. If you wish to proceed with the rename it'd be best if you choose a different name — Frankie ( talk) 15:50, 18 December 2012 (UTC) reply
