[1] that several hundred edits from January, February and March of 2010 have not yet changed over. I verified this from a glance at the edit history for
this article[2], which shows a knot of edits still under the old name around January 20, 2010, but under the new name both before and thereafter. Could someone check on this and complete the transfer of the edit history? NB: I made this request on the talk page a week ago, but there has not been any answer.

Reason: I would like my username changed for two reasons. Firstly, simple preference. Having just returned to Wikipedia my tastes in usernames has changed since when I created this account. Secondly, I've used the current username too often round the Net and for privacy reasons I'd prefer to break up that trail abit. Thank you in advance. :)

Reason: I requested a name change, which was mostly accomplished in April - and thank you! - but the edit history hasn't been quite finished. I've just found out, courtesy of the X! Edit Counter

Sorry, this is a known bug with the rename system; that sometimes all edits do not transfer. You can file a request on
bugzilla: and hope that a nice sysadmin will make the change, but other than that, we can't help. MBisanztalk 02:37, 8 June 2011 (UTC)reply
