Reason: I have been thinking about changing my username for quite some time, as I find my current one to be bland an uninteresting. It also does not reflect my current attitude, which has shifted from the narrow enthusiasm for video gaming to the broad optimism for free media in general. I believe the proposed username, FreeMediaKids!, best captures my cheery and slightly lighthearted attitude in a popular way, and is perfectly in accordance with username policy.
GaɱingFørFuɲ365 00:27, 16 March 2020 (UTC)reply
NOTE: I have decided to change the proposed name from FreeMedia! to FreeMediaKids!. This is the username that I had considered, as it is more distinctive and recognizable, but was hesitant because it seemed inconvenient for everyone to say it entirely instead of abbreviating it to FreeMedia!. Then again, I could say on my user page that anyone can call me that for the sake of their convenience. If the newer proposed change violates username policy either because it (unintentionally) implies a shared account or for any other reason, I will stick to simply FreeMedia!.

@
Gamingforfun365: Hey, FreeMediaKids! and FreeMedia! both are fine as neither your account is shared nor it happens to be an actual company account. But I like to mention that not everybody share those view and there have been cases when people ask users to change their username as they look like company name or shared. So these usernames are ok as long as someone do not raise a concern. My advise would be to go with FreeMediaKid! or something else which adhere the
username policy. ‐‐

Hmmm, a tough one. FreeMediaKid! follows the same intended spirit as FreeMediaKids!, but it does imply that I am a minor, which is no longer the case. Then again, the exclamation mark does obscure that, where it looks like a message appealing to kids who love free media (the intended message). Okay, I will agree to using FreeMediaKid!, because it follows the username policy and is still distinct and recognizable.

Reason: I am using this account for school related work and activities. Many of my classmates keep mistaking my current username for oedipus rex and not odious rex. Due to the story of oedipus rex (I hope who ever responds to this knows the story) it is causing some issues between myself and my classmates. I wanted a cool Latin username and this common misconception didn't even cross my mind at the time. I hope you can help by allowing this change.

Reason: I've long, long tired of the Blofeld user name and could never previously get a change because of a high edit count. I'm told a move is now fine given an update in the technology. Time for something a bit maturer, classic sounding and suitable. I would prefer the title with the old english æ Encyclopædius, I would presume that Encyclopaedius if typed would go straight to that, or could be redirected but if there is an issue I'll grudgingly go with a regular a and e.♦
