Thanks for taking this on. If possible, you may want to have the bot check the page post-edit, but before saving, to ensure that there are no more Linter errors on the page. That appears to be the best practice for Lint-fixing bots; see loads of previous complaints about MalnadachBot's multiple visits to pages. Legobot, when it was doing Lint fixes, had this check in place. See also this search, which is similar text.
