DeleteComment I don't see that this subject passes WP:NPROF. Just having an appointment at a major research institution is not in itself sufficient to satisfy the criterion. Qflib ( talk) 20:50, 21 March 2024 (UTC)- Delete: Source 2 is green per Source Highlighter, but is simply a short profile, nothing a length about the person. Source 9 is also green (a RS), but I don't think it's enough for notability. Rest of the sources used aren't identified by the Highlighter tool so I can't comment on them. rarely meet the prof test. I don't see anything special about this scholar to buck the trend, and not
a lot of coverage for
general notability. The coverage cited shallowly repeats
the same basic resume.

- The sources provide detailed biographical coverage about the subject and demonstrate he meets Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Basic criteria and Wikipedia:Notability#General notability guideline. The subject is a businessman and most of the coverage focuses on his business activities. This does not mean that WP:NOTRESUME is violated. WP:NOTRESUME says Wikipedia pages should not be "Personal web pages", "File storage areas", "Dating services", "Memorials", or "Content for projects unrelated to Wikipedia".
