Comment. I note that most of the titles of this article in the other wikis translate to "Macedonian lion". If the Macedonian lion is notable enough, it can have its own standalone article with that title. It is a rather prominent symbol for some ethnic Macedonian orgs (such as
VMRO-DPMNE). I otherwise agree that the potential for the lion to become the national emblem can just be covered in the National Emblem article. --

Comment. The lion used by DPMNE is solely an imitation of the symbols of the original organization from the end of the 19th century -
BMARC, which borrowed the
Bulgarian lion from the
Bulgarian revolutionary traditions, that have nothing to do with any Macedonian lion.
