Welcome to WikiProject Stamford. Several years ago, a number of Wikipedians formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Stamford, Lincolnshire and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources. Little has been added to the project in recent times, so Stamford Civic Society has opted to re-enliven the development of Stamford information, with particular focus on the creation of articles about the principal listed buildings in the town. This in turn will form part of a wider project which will see the use of QR codes on those buildings, which will offer visitors to the town the opportunity to view information on smartphones and tablets as they walk around. It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.
