Unuseful template, explaining what should be explained in text, if at all. To add to its problems, it is used at
Vespasian, prodcing, "Vespasian is a Roman name"; it isn't. Vespasian is the English name of a Roman Emperor.

Delete. If the nomenclature needs to be explained, the template is inadequate. If the name requires no explanation, the template is redundant. Since many Roman biographies need disambiguating or other top notes, the template adds distracting clutter at the beginning of the article. I inquired at the Classical Greece & Rome project, and no one seemed to know its origin or purpose.
